About me

I am a hardworking and ambitious individual who has graduated from Teesside University with a BA (Hons) degree in Television and Film Production. I have strong experience of both working as part of a team, in various job roles alongside my studies, and on my own initiative in a number of media-based positions. These include voluntary experience as a Runner with the BBC ‘Take it to the Bridge’ music event in Middlesbrough, during which I gained professional experience of the camera and green screen work, and with Middlesbrough Council as a Camera Operator. Having also volunteered with ‘Boro Angels’ and producing my own documentary, a service supporting homeless and vulnerable people on nights out in the city, I have developed strong communication skills, enabling me to work effectively with people on all levels.

  Teesside PrincessA promotional video styled for Channel 4, which I fully produced, edited and directed. The project also required strong research skills and included risk assessments to ensure safety.
• Street SaintsA documentary on ‘Middlesbrough Angels’, a support group that protects young people at night on the streets of Middlesbrough. This project was all my own work and included: camera, editing, production, research and interviewing skills.
