I'm Cat. I'm a professional copywriter, translator, photographer and food stylist (and occasional street food chef, recipe developer and journalist...) based between Paris and London.
I began freelancing in 2011 while still studying, so I have nearly a decade of experience in multiple creative fields. I've worked with a vast range of clients on different projects, from food styling the bowl on the current box of Kellogg's Cornflakes (European edition) and translating branding and graphics guidelines for the Tour de France to writing health, science and technology content for brands like ASUS, Generali and Philip Morris International.
Alongside my freelance work, I'm a professional historian - I graduated from the MA in Urban History and Culture at ULIP in Paris with Distinction last year, and I'll soon be starting a PhD in History Research at King's College London. I specialise in the history of medicine, specifically the nineteenth-century morgues of Paris and New York and their role in developing forensic science, supporting the cadaver trade, and enforcing the exploitation of specific groups of socially alienated citizens.
