About me
Enthusiastic and driven BA (hons) in Media and English Literature. I have worked as a freelance and in-house magazine writer and editor, including jobs overseas. I have experience working in PR, helping to run high pressure VIP events, and going the extra mile for my employer. I also have experiences in several customer facing roles, including as a shop assistant at LUSH Cosmetics. I run an award winning magazine for marginalised people, CONKER. Since its creation in 2016, I have managed to steer the magazine and the small team through creating three print editions of the magazine, engaging readers through excellent social media presence, customer service and events. I have also been able to secure global distribution for the magazine, and have experience liaising with both customers and other professionals in the field.

I was asked to work at this prestigious London City store, having impressed the management at a previous branch of LUSH. I work as part of a team, keeping up energy within the team in order to maintain the quality of service, whilst also being able to deliver an efficient and friendly customer experience. In this role, I helped with the starting up of a new branch in a difficult business district. Following a temporary position to meet the Christmas rush, I was kept on as part of the permanent staff team. I was asked to help organise a charity event in the store for Blue Monday/ mental health awareness.
