My name is Caterina Cedone and I am attending my Master's degree in Communication Design
at Politecnico di Milano.
I also graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Communication Design at the Politecnico between 2016 and 2019. I have a great passion for publishing. I also love illustrating, although in recent years it has become more of a support for graphic projects should the need arise.
I am passionate about art history (thanks to the in-depth study I carried out during artistic high school), a discipline that has been very useful to me both in terms of a method of approaching visual artefacts but also in the search for authoritative graphic references for design.
What interests me most, particularly in the editorial field, is the challenge of reconciling good communication (the primary aim in my opinion) with aesthetic beauty; starting from the constraints of a content to arrive, from this, at the construction of the page/artifact (web or editorial page). The aspect that fascinates me most is that, through this method of working, rather than 'building' the page, it is a matter of 'finding' it.
