About me

At 16, when I was applying for my BA, I chose the English language and linguistics course at the University of Essex, as back then my passion was languages. Even though I still love languages, at 19, when I had to apply for my master's degree, I had already decided that I wanted to do something more creative. I wanted something which would allow me to express my creativity and imagination on a daily basis as well as apply my knowledge and own point of view of the world. Hence, I found myself at 20 years old, studying an MSc on Management and Marketing. I grew up in a family that is revolved by creativity and arts. My father is a photographer, my mother is the "cake boss" of our family and my sister is a self-taught fashion designer and event planner. Hence, while growing up I developed an eye for aesthetics and I had the chance to develop skills, hobbies and interests on a variety of areas. The industries of fashion, interior, beauty, real estate as well as sports are the ones I more passionate about. Along with the above mentioned, learning about cultures and travelling are what excites me the most. This lead to me on choosing to write my master's dissertation "A cross-cultural study on consumers' perceptions towards fast fashion", which I am now awaiting the final mark of. Since completing my dissertation in September 2020, I have been volunteering as an English teacher, reading books, taking online courses and attending webinars in order to acquire new skills and have started my digital portfolio/blog on Instagram with the username @marketingwithkefi. Doing something "with kefi" in Greek, it means doing something with joy, passion and enthusiasm. I believe this is the perfect name I could give to my blog as my main goal in life is to do everything I do "With kefi", especially my job.
