  • - Responsible, along with a team of visual stylists, for maintaining the stores display standards and brand image and resetting the store to a high visual standard at the beginning of every day. - Working as part of a small team of stylists responsible for carrying out window schemes – learning to deal with quick changes and high pressured deadlines and environments has been vital. Forging and maintaining good relationships with head office, regional windows managers and window scheme fitters is extremely important as well in order to make sure windows are of the highest standard as they are the first part of the customer journey. - Responsible for the first seven months for the styling of the Homeware department, including table dressings and displays, high level displays, the dressing of beds and also wall displays as well as the general upkeep of the area. - Dressing mannequins and making sure all clothes are recorded steamed and pinned correctly in accordance with the M&S styling principles, allowing us to showcase fabric properties and the fit of the clothes in the most flattering way. - Forming and maintaining good relationships with all shop floor staff, allowing us to work alongside each other with any floor moves that will be done. - Keeping up to date with stock levels and sell outs to make sure we are always refreshing and reviving our displays with the newest and most on trend product available in store. - Remaining up to date with décor ordering and paperwork for seasonal phase changes and refreshes and making sure these changes are completed in the given deadlines and completed to a high standard. - Completing competition shops and researching what is trending on the high street.

  • - Responsible for opening and closing the concession alone while on either opening or closing shifts, I am left to make sure the day starts and ends smoothly. - Remaining knowledgeable about the brand as well as keeping up to date with new product in our other stores, this allows us to offer the best possible service to the customer making sure they return again. It is also vital that I remain up to date with the Selfridges brand as we are also a representative of them so that we can give great customer service to the Selfridges core customer as well as our Anthropologie clientele. - Helping out on overnight and early morning refits of the concession, restocking, displaying and organising stock alongside the visual display team. - General tidying and up keep of the area in which I work - making sure display is immaculate and well stocked, replying to emails, answering phone-calls and any other correspondence with customers throughout the day. - Cashing up at the end of a working day, making sure that the till balances and that all money is taken safely and responsibly to the cash office. - Training up new staff members when they join our team and getting them familiar with till systems and everyday general administration at the concession.
