About me
I come from a filmmaking background, thus having learnt the basics of all the major production roles, including a joint degree in animation. I specialise in the more traditional, under camera side of animation, producing mainly pixilation and paper cut out. I'm drawn to the combination of stop motion and live action film so have used this technique to portray the majority of my short films. I'm interested in developing these skills within a more digital environment. I'm an avid animator, film fanatic and analog camera collector. I aspire to bring outdated processes back from the dead and inanimate objects to life. Shooting film is somewhat an obsession of mine. My favourite pastime is within the womblike walls of a darkroom, conjuring alchemic images of a present now passed. I'm looking to expand my film, animation and photography skills within a creative and inspiring workplace.
