As a Senior Project Manager with 25 years experience within the Design Industry, I am a dynamic and effective individual who thrives working in a team environment. I have ambition and drive in which to deliver multiple projects, on time and to budget. I am set up to work with and deliver projects remotely from my project office in West Wales and can travel when required. In May 2018, I was brought into the company specifically to manage and move forward a new design and build tourism project, partially funded by the Welsh Government’s Tourism Product Innovation Fund (TPIF). A family run business used to delivering to last minute deadlines, now needed an experienced project manager to provide the planning and vision necessary to deliver the project on time and to budget. The role involves reporting and compliance, plus managing the budget and procurement practices to strict government guidelines, providing a holistic and robust project plan and communicating to stakeholders at all levels. I also provide general project management consultancy support for the fforest group of companies as a whole, when required, reporting directly to the Project Director.

My role provided the company with a clear point of contact and holistic view of project deliverables from multiple design disciplines and teams. Working with multi-stakeholders from within Nokia, engaging with different parts of the business and also with external ODMs, I have been successful in managing multi- disciplinary projects where the holistic view and understanding of all design disciplines has been essential. Design (working with Symbian & Meego Services Design teams), Usability, Packaging, Visual Communications, Gear and Accessories, Technical Graphics and Master Surfacing.
