I'm a final year surface pattern design student from Swansea, Wales. I'm currently studying at UWTSD Swansea Collage of Art.
I have had a passion for art and design since I was little and feel incredibly lucky to have continued this throughout my whole years of studies. I was drawn to surface pattern through its heavy use of drawing combined with different textile processes.
I now specialise in prints for fashion and textiles, I love analysing current and upcoming trends and incorporating them with my personal design signature. I work using hand drawn illustrations which I then edit and print digitally. It has been important to me throughout my studies to always start by hand.
Projects
- Monochrome Floral blow upsThis is a recent live project I undertook with Patternbank. I responded to one of their Fall 2021 trends, monochrome blow up. I chose Zara as my chosen brand due to the feminine and nature of the designs. All designs were hand drawn then scanned to edit and print digitally.
