Creative and committed individual with extensive experience in events and live performance and a proven track record of working in fast-paced environments where initiative and positivity are key. An ultimate team player with an unflappable ‘can-do’ attitude.
I manage all external events at the Lyric from concept stage through to contract and onwards to delivery. I also look after the creation and management of the Lyric's internal development, partner and production events. I manage budgets, oversee catering and act as a key point of contact for all events across our 20 spaces.
Leading on all matters related to communications and events, with particular focus on profile-building and sourcing new avenues of unrestricted funding and partnership. This included managing two large-scale fundraisers, a year-long fundraising initiative ‘Challenge for Change’, and securing, writing and producing a BBC Radio 4 appeal.
Working alongside the programming team and venue management teams to co-ordinate all one-off events, private hires and performances across the Ambassador Theatre Group's West End venues. Over the course of a year, I developed the role from a part-time support role to a full department bringing in £300,000 worth of profit for the Ambassador Theatre Group's London venues every year. In this time I worked with a number of long standing clients such as the Samaritans, Personal Presentation and Hillsong as well as bringing in new business from the likes of the John Bishop Christmas Show, the Jack Petchey Awards, West End Recast and Colm Wilkinson in Concert.
