I am a highly qualified and passionate individual, with a strong work ethic and drive for creating unique and relatable content. I enjoy working in a creative and fast-paced environment and feel that I flourish when managing multiple tasks. I am aiming to work in the publishing sector predominantly, however, am open to working in any creative industry where I can utilise my talents.
I am a skilled writer, particularly in creative writing in which I can bring my love of books and reading to play. I am also skilled in transcribing, copywriting and editing, multitasking, managing client relationships, social media management, working to deadlines and use of programmes such as MailChimp, Hootsuite and Photoshop.
I enjoy maintaining a good work/life balance and enjoy engaging in social activities and sports such as lacrosse, aerobic fitness classes and swimming.
I have undertaken several career-advancing opportunities such as a voluntary internship at publishing house Harper Collins and a semester abroad in the USA. These opportunities have enabled me to develop a valuable and transferable skill set that is ideal for any fast-paced creative industry.
During my short placement at the Harper Collins Distribution Centre in Glasgow, I was able to understand different creative areas and approach several department directors and discuss their work. thus broadening my prospects. From this, I gained valuable experience interacting with different departments, foreseeing the process of creative content and better understanding the intricacies and delicate balance it requires to collectively create a strong and influential brand.
My time at Washington State University taught me to be self-reliant, improved my communication with people from different cultural backgrounds, and served to heighten my awareness of global issues and worldviews as an international citizen. I am also now happy to travel to any location to pursue my ambition for a professional creative career.

I am currently employed in the role of Content Manager at Superyachts.com, a luxury portal of superyacht information. Within this role, I have had many varied responsibilities, including the running of the weekly newsletter, from the creation of the content to the layout and everything in-between. I have written over 10 feature articles ranging from paid advertisements to travel and luxury for two of our company print magazines, InDepth Antigua & Barbuda and InDepth Montenegro, both of which are due for publication in September. I am also in charge of all of our online content, therefore I manage all social media platforms and all website stories and articles for publish. I am looking to move on from this role and I am looking for a position in which I can grow as a writer, stay motivated and bring passion to my work.
