  • Womenswear Design- Responsible for seasonal mood, designing, color palette, fabrics, defining and structuring for Sharon Wauchob Luxury Brand on both pre collection and main line collections. Organization of fitting for design development. Initial design sketches, artwork for print and embroidery design. Instructing and orchestrating the team of pattern drafters for creation of design and overseeing from beginning to end. Delegating tasks amongst the production and design team throughout each season. Initial sketching and progressive technical drawing for clothes, embroidery and accessories for initial instruction. Launching to factories and regularly communicating and liaising with Italian, French, Indian, English, Japanese and Chinese factories as head lead of contact. Organizing design line up for Paris Fashion Week. Informing, planning and assisting the styling process before show. Organizing the running order, backstage and tasks amongst the team. Reanalyzing product and materials for better production cost and best successful production completion. ? Embroidery Design- Researching new creative/design techniques each season, sourcing vintage inspiration, creating artwork, articulating and defining the needs of the label through embroidery execution. Developing and generating patterns for embroidery disposition. Drawing/ sketching artwork. Creating design through illustration, hand artwork and knowledge of embroidery techniques, stitches, materials etc through pattern disposition. Launching initial embroidery development ie.sampling for collections and fashion show and constant overseeing and liaising with Indian/French factories as the lead contact at Sharon Wauchob, enables and facilitates clear communication for factory execution. Overseeing and executing embroidery development from showroom samples through to production and articulating the product for completion of production to the shop stores. ? Production Assistant: Creating technical drawing of all garments for sales presentation and factory technical sheets, calculating meterage of garments for costing and listing garment components. Inputting components through computer systems for production calculations. Giving technical information and advice to factories. Overseeing production patterns for accuracy. Communicating with factories on regular basis. Responsible for making technical packs for factories for initial factory launch and production launch. Controlling design list of development of collection each season. Quality controlling for progression of sampling to production garments. ? Fabric Technique Development- creating fabric manipulations through laser cut design, reworking fabrics (jacquards, guipure, laces) together with Italian, French and Indian factories. Seeing through techniques to be developed in factories and for productions and ensuring techniques are generalizable and appropriate for factory setting. Sourcing vintage and inspiration for new ideas each season for two individual labels of knitwear. Sharon Wauchob knitwear and collection k knitwear. Considering and separating two different labels and their own identities and creating something unique for each label. Launching and liaising knitwear designs to factories in Hong Kong and China and overseeing the sampling to finalization of knit line. Choosing color and design aesthetic for label. ? Accessory Design: Researching design, material, color and techniques for Sharon Wauchob shoes, hand bags and belts. Executing, sketching and providing technical drawings as well as providing technical information of patterns for all shoes, handbags and belts for factory launch. Seeing through techniques to be developed in Italian factories and ensuring techniques are appropriate and feasible for factory settings. Overseeing the product from sketch to finish sample piece. Travelling to Italian factories monthly and being an onsite present and influence in guaranteeing clear communication and execution of product for both sampling and production. Reanalyzing product and materials for better production cost and best successful production completion. Completion of verbal and written reports for the finance team to analyze.
