Embroidery Design- Researching new creative/design techniques each season, sourcing vintage inspiration, creating artwork, articulating and defining the needs of the label through embroidery execution. Overseeing and executing embroidery development from showroom samples through to production and articulating the product for completion of production to the shop stores. ? Production Assistant: Creating technical drawing of all garments for sales presentation and factory technical sheets, calculating meterage of garments for costing and listing garment components. Inputting components through computer systems for production calculations. Giving technical information and advice to factories. Overseeing production patterns for accuracy. Communicating with factories on regular basis. Responsible for making technical packs for factories for initial factory launch and production launch. Controlling design list of development of collection each season. Quality controlling for progression of sampling to production garments. ? Fabric Technique Development- creating fabric manipulations through laser cut design, reworking fabrics (jacquards, guipure, laces) together with Italian, French and Indian factories. Considering and separating two different labels and their own identities and creating something unique for each label. Accessory Design: Researching design, material, color and techniques for Sharon Wauchob shoes, hand bags and belts. Executing, sketching and providing technical drawings as well as providing technical information of patterns for all shoes, handbags and belts for factory launch. Seeing through techniques to be developed in Italian factories and ensuring techniques are appropriate and feasible for factory settings. Overseeing the product from sketch to finish sample piece. Travelling to Italian factories monthly and being an onsite present and influence in guaranteeing clear communication and execution of product for both sampling and production.
