I am currently working within a property company overseeing surveyors for the Cambridge and London regions. Planning their diaries and arranging their appointments for each day visiting properties to value. I use many Microsoft applications as well as excel. I also have very good communication skills as I need to lease with mortgage lenders, banks, estate agents and property owners on a daily basis. I work well as a part of a team and as an individual.
As well as already developing my skills as a destination services coordinator I was promoted to Destination Services Manager. Instead of being part of a team of coordinators I ran and over saw the department. My duties included but not limited to; communicating with head office, and direct communication with our shore side suppliers, keeping the team organised and motivated, hitting the daily, weekly and monthly revenue and profit targets, a weekly presentation for over 600 guests, handling weekly accounts and paying our shore side services. Problem solving and dealing with any escalating problems from guests, and working under pressure particularly if there were any issues occurring on the excursions, late arrival into ports or even a last minute change of port.
