About me

Céleste Dudan is a French photographer based in London. After studying Fashion Design and Fine Arts in Paris (where she originates), she attended London College of Fashion to study a BA in Fashion Photography graduating July 2013. She approaches her work with a multi-disciplined set of skills and influences, encompassing elements of Fashion as well as Fine Art Photography, in parallel to a fascination with Drawing and Illustration which feed back into her practice as a photographer. Spanning subject matter from the contemporary issues tackled by Fashion and Photography as a medium, as well as related topics around artifice and the authority of the camera in relation to truth. Aesthetics and what contemporary beauty within photography might be and what the medium has to offer in exploring these issues is something which perpetually preoccupies her practice.
