Music EditorThe Boar (University of Warwick newspaper)
Coventry, United KingdomPart Time
As Music Editor, I run one of the most popular sections on the Boar website, along with two deputy editors.
Every two weeks, I design the section pages using InDesign and Photoshop.
I pitch regularly to the writers base, communicate with PR to secure previews, gigs and interviews - since March, Boar Music has spoken to Enter Shikari, Bastille’s Chris Woody, Hinds and local Warwick musicians impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.
I edit, schedule and upload articles to our website everyday via Wordpress, as well as run a range of different social media’s for the section.

I’m currently in my second year at Warwick, studying English Literature. This year, I’m particularly interested in American Studies, which I have furthered in my module States of Damage - this looks at Neoliberalism and Late Capitalism in America and Western countries.
After receiving a 2:1 in my first year, I plan to study my Masters in Journalism in London in 2022.

A LevelRichard Huish College
- Taunton, United Kingdom
I received B-B-B in English Literature, History Late-Modern and Classical Civilisation. I also achieved an A* in my Extended Project Qualification, focusing on the poetry of Irish Modernist Louis MacNeice.
During my time at Richard Huish, I was a Student Ambassador (working college events to greet and give guidance to potential students), and I was also a Student Trustee. This latter role involved me attending regular meetings with other committee members to discuss the colleges purpose as both an academic institution and trust.
