Projects
- FiureddeDating back to the XII century, these sacred aediculae known in Sicilian dialect as ‘Fiuredde’ or ‘Cappidduzzi’ are the manifestation of a spontaneous cult or a need for protection. They can be found almost everywhere in the island and they used to be reference and meeting points for the neighbourood. Although they are now mostly in a state of disrepair, some are still taken care of by local pious women.
