About me
I am a highly-skilled social media specialist and soon to be Loughborough University, Media & Communications graduate.
Since embarking in the study of social sciences I have become increasingly curious about people and learning from others. I am an extrovert who loves meeting new people, listening to a diverse perspective, and using my skills to support others. As a social media specialist, I use my expertise to solve client problems, by understanding their business and customers. I have successfully built and managed social media accounts, whilst also supporting many businesses to understand the value of organic and paid social media.
I am currently supporting start-ups by delivering social media advertising training, providing 1-2-1 consultations, alongside tailored advertising solutions. I have created paid social campaigns for many household brands such as FMCG giant Johnson & Johnson, Accenture, and A+E Networks, and Rowse Honey. I have a comprehensive understanding of various social channels including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Snapchat. I also am an analytical, data-driven person who pays attention to detail providing my clients with high quality, detailed reporting.
The adverting industry has a real challenge when it comes to diversity and inclusion, and I am committed to doing something about this. I continue to support young people to break into the industry. One of my biggest achievements to date has been completing my dissertation research on BAME advertising practitioners' views on diversity and inclusion. I also featured in the Powerful Media, Top 150 future leaders 2019, which showcases the most outstanding Afro-Caribbean talent.
