I am currently an Event Project Manager within the live events industry. I have built up my experience over the past 9 years in corporate and live event management, production, client management and event programming. I specialise in delivering bespoke, high-end events from pop-up restaurants to experiential marketing, conferences and corporate events. I have worked as a freelancer throughout my career and I am now looking for new opportunities, both freelance and full time.
The Heads Together Campaign brings together 8 mental health charities and 3 major corporate partners to help end the stigma against mental health. The campaign is spearheaded by The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry. I work primarily as the campaign events officer. I am responsible for helping to create and plan campaign events and then to take over the management of the event in its entirety, from budgeting and project management. I lead event recces with the Royal Household and protection teams, and I am responsible for creating and managing all event briefings. Briefings are required for the Royal Household teams, internal staff, wider foundation staff, trustees of The Royal Foundation, corporate and charity partners. I am also responsible for the smooth running of the events on the day and oversee all event activity.
I worked during University and over the part 9 years as a freelance events professional. I began my career in theatre and moved over into the live events sector. I worked extensively with high profile events and VIPS and learnt all aspects of event management. My primary skills were in event logistics and operations and I then moved into creative production. The projects I undertook ranged from from pop-up restaurants to brand launches, conferences and high-end corporate events. Throughout the 9 years I undertook contracts with The Royal Shakespeare Company, Jack Morton Worldwide, Wilderness and Somersault Festivals, AEG & BST Hyde Park festival, Secret Cinema, TLF Worldwide, Wicked London Productions Ltd., and Touchpaper Wales for the BBC.
