About me
I work for Majeda Clarke covering all aspects of the design and production process for woven blankets, cushions and commissioned artwork. I have excellent knowledge and experience of wovens at all levels of production. I am responsible for the design and weaving of commissioned artwork, together with collaborating with prestigious firms for example Fortnum & Mason who recently created their first woven blanket collection. Throughout my roles at Majeda Clarke and Donghia & Rubelli I gained a great deal of experience creating large and small scale repeats, which has helped me to understand the use of cloth within a home.
I have continued to improve and hone my craft both with hand drawing and Illustrator for Jane Wadham. I create designs, visualisations and samples to bring clients visions to life.
The variety of roles I currently undertake gives me the flexibility and freedom to understand and explore different styles, industries and markets. This experience makes me a well-rounded designer with a broad understanding of clients needs and expectations.
