I am currently attending University College London and am in my second year of a BA in History of Art, Materials and Technology, set to graduate in 2025. I have always had a love for literature, constantly indulging in classic romance novels, with Emma by Jane being my absolute favourite.
My over stimulative imaginative mind led me to writing pretty quickly in my academic career. Beginning with school issued creative writing and poetry, and into a more journalistic style when beginning university.
I am an avid reader of popular publications such as The Economist and The New Yorker, as well as equally enjoying more creatively inclined magazines such as Vanity Fair and Vogue. The writers published on these sites, for me, are central to the development of my writing. Taking stylistic inspiration, as well as supplying a fantastic example of how to form and create unique angles to mundane subjects.
Additionally, I also engage as much as I can with the political sphere. Whether it is tuning into debates held in the House of Commons or simply listening to the morning news, it is extremely important to me to maintain an up to date knowledge of what is going on in the world, and continue important conversations around current affairs in my everyday life.
