The roles within Volunteering I do, Is helping out whenever then need me. Which might be helping cover the front desk and talking to the public as they come in and telling them all about the exhibition that is on. Helping out when they do a turn over to the next exhibition, which includes, carefully packaging exhibition pieces so they can be transported to their next venue, painting the walls, from white to black, if there is a video piece and then painting them back to white when the exhibition is over, helping clean the floors and hanging pieces of art work, I also do the Galleries Social Media. I have also done some organizing, from files to sorting out the objects that they use when they have school groups or workshops. I also do a lot with the Galleries art Collection, which is mainly organizing and making use they have enough imformation on each piece of art that they have, like the name of the artist and what the artwork is called and making notes on the condition of the pieces.
