About me
Hello, I’m Charlotte. I’m here to help you communicate your message by providing thoughtful creative design. I’m a Brighton based (…well, Hove actually) Graphic Designer, but I like to call myself a Creative Designer as I cover all areas of design from print to digital design. You can find me most of the time creating logo and brand identities, print design for brochures and packaging, to digital design including bespoke website design. What sets me apart from other Graphic Designers is my meticulous eye for detail, especially when it comes to typography. The Design Process I place a lot of importance on working with you to develop your brief. In my mind this is an essential element of the design process and ensures the outcome is a collaborative one . Understanding your business is key, and to do that I need to ask you the right questions to ‘extract’ what I need to be as informed as I can about your business or product. Once we have honed the design brief I will create an agreed number of concepts which I will then present to you either digitally or face-to-face depending on what you would prefer. After feedback is considered I revise and develop the chosen concept to a finished high-standard design that includes artworking for print or supply of the relevant file formats, or both. My design style is very clean and uncluttered. I believe if it’s not there for a reason or enhancing the design then it shouldn’t be there at all. I create meaningful, considered design that problem solves, looks visually pleasing and adds value to your brand. Creative Inspiration My love of design is emulated in my interest in interiors and antique objects and furniture – you’ll often find me at an Antiques Fair looking for items to fill my home with. My most treasured piece of furniture is my vintage polished steel filing cabinet – a great and useful find! I love visiting new places, whether that be coffee shops and restaurants to a city or continent. These give me inspiration and keep my visual mind topped up with new ideas. Experience In my 15 years I’ve worked for clients from individuals and start-ups to global brands and charities, across public and private sectors. I offer a full design service through collaboration with experienced photographers, illustrators, web developers and printers. I have a knowledge of print processes and paper stocks and I’m always happy to advise to help create beautiful print design. If you would like to discuss a project or would like help in creating a design brief, please get in touch with me to discuss.

  • Rebrand for award-winning PR agency MidnightMidnight are an award-winning PR agency based in Brighton. They approached me to rebrand their business and focus on being less corporate and more contemporary boutique agency. They felt their previous brand logo lacked creative flair and personality. The chosen logo design includes a speech bubble graphic which is an iconic and universal symbol for communication. The speech bubble shape can be used as a graphic device for holding text and images, and can be used across the brand elements to b

I worked closely with Hannah, NYFs CEO, on coming up with a name for the enterprise – ‘Kathaa’ which means ‘story’ in Nepalese. The men’s and women’s Down Jackets have been made by Nepal’s freed Kamalari women (domestic child slaves). The Nepal Youth Foundation has trained these girls in commercial tailori
