About me
Since completing a degree in photography in 2011, I have proven myself to be a passionate, determined, and result oriented worker, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. I am confident with people of all levels, as well as liaising with internal and external teams to offer support and discuss progress. I have a great understanding of aesthetics and image composition and relish in helping to create content that is eye-catching and generates engagement.
I have worked as a producer for the past 2 years, prior to which I have worked in the photography and film industry for a further 6 years in fast pace environments. This included freelance assisting photographers and videographers, managing studios and further production/project manager type roles. This gave me a great understanding and knowledge about studios, equipment and agencies as well as a plenty of contacts within the industry.
From 2016-2017, I worked for Brandbank, a company specialising in food and product photography. Here I was working alone keeping up to date with deadlines and workloads for an E-commerce studio. I also worked alongside others in the studio and the commercial team, to insure the clients were getting exactly what they asked for, and to a high standard. After a few months, I was promoted to supporting the international team. This meant I was sent to various countries, where I was assisting project managers setting up new projects and with new clients including Walmart. This I enjoyed immensely, being such an integral part to a project, and keeping busy making sure to multitask on a number projects and allocating other roles.
Since moving back to London, I have worked freelance in-house, and for production companies fulfilling many roles and creating relationships with agencies, production houses and other onset crew members. At The Body Shop, I got to be very hands on. I worked on the casting, coordination of shoots, and post post production. When I started I was concentrating on E-commerce. As my role progressed, I started assisting and taking on campaigns. At Burberry, I was briefing and managing the accessory shoots for their E-commerce. This largely involved QC-ing the images to make sure they were all to spec. I also created a number of documents for anything from Runway and Ecomm models that Burberry wanted to use, to calendars and call sheets.
When working for production companies, I have worked many varied campaigns. The project I am most proud of working on which I co-produced, was a Home Office campaign for Another, which educated about FGM. For this I sensitively helped cast when our casting company were struggling to find victims willing to be involved. I sorted out the children’s licences, and worked with the creative agency and photographer’s agency to make sure we could get the most for the budget which I had created and adapted many times.

When I first took on this role I was originally working as an assistant producer. By the end I would see through whole processes from moodboards, prep days where I would source backgrounds and props to directing on the day of the shoot. Afterwards I would also manage the post production, feeding back on images before completion.
