    Editorial CoordinatorSimba Sleep
    London, United KingdomFull Time
Currently, I’m the Editorial Coordinator at Simba - a dynamic sleep technology start-up, on a mission to make bedtime better. I turn my hand to everything from snappy one-liners (puns come as standard) to myth-busting articles that take sleep science from daunting to digestible. In a nutshell, whether it’s the Performance Marketing team in need of a paid social blurb, or the Partnership Manager on the hunt for an in-depth, product-focused piece, I’m the go-to. As such, I ensure all content published by Simba fits with our tone of voice, is grammatically correct and packs a punch. With a streamlined product offering, it’s imperative to come up with fresh ideas to engage customers - so I’m always jotting down new ways to communicate the brand’s daring personality. I also manage the editorial calendar, the company blog - Night Life, and the monthly e-newsletter - The Thread, as well as all of the copy assets for Simba’s sleep-optimised apartments, The Zed Rooms.

    Travel CopywriterTUI UK
     - Luton, United KingdomFull Time
Previously, I was part of the Editorial team at TUI UK, where I created copy for numerous business areas. Writing about hotels and destinations for both the TUI and First Choice websites, brochures and blogs made up a large part of my daily responsibilities, so using varying tones of voice has become second nature. Alongside this, I acted as the primary contact for the E-Commerce team. This involved continuously fine-tuning the copy customers saw when browsing holidays, putting forward suggestions for A/B testing sprints, and collaborating with the Product Owners and UX designers. I also worked within a tight-knit sub-team focused on completely redesigning the booking process. Adaptability was a key factor in my role, too - particularly demonstrated during the 2017 rebrand from Thomson, when my team and I performed very successfully in a high-pressure period.
