Marketing strategy and deployment for this luxury book publishing company. Established brand and ensured global communication to HNWI audience via targeted PR and events. Gloria was a leading publisher of luxury, limited-edition big books. The company was founded in 2004 by Ovais Naqvi (primary investor Abraaj Capital), with the objective to create the biggest, most beautiful books in the world. Titles include Pelé, Superyacht, New York and Scarfe on The Wall.
Gave the site a cohesive “voice” via all communication channels. Worked across all departments to ensure content published to the website. CoutureLab was set up by Carmen Busquets (one of the founding investors in Net-a-Porter) as a luxury retail destination - a unique online environment where people can find one-off, bespoke, limited-edition and couture pieces to suit every taste.
Project managed and oversaw many areas of this major international event, provided strategic input for the long term success of London Fashion Week and recruited/managed a great team to ensure Marketing, front of house and VIP support ran smoothly. The British Fashion Council organises London Fashion Week, the British Fashion Awards and the Colleges Council with a remit to promote British fashion design worldwide.
