About me

I am a freelance illustrator and mural artist based in Somerset, UK. Vibrant colours and handlettering are some of the ingredients that I use to create inspiring images that burst with energy. My bold designs are perfect for advertising, book publications, editorial and products, and I've also just starting taking on murals - it brings me a lot of joy to be out amongst people and try new things! In 2022 I completed a huge project for Quarto Books of 365 portraits for '365 Gays of the Year', and am now ready to sink my teeth into something new. In 2021 I took on a personal project creating silk scarves with my illustrations; organic patterns and the natural world are two of the main inspirations and I'm looking to expand this further this year with collaborations. A lover of bold colour, I bring energy, vibrancy and a playful approach to all of my work!

  '365 Gays of the Year' : Publishing commissionLast year I illustrated 365 portraits for White Lion Publishing, part of Quarto Books, for '365 Gays of the Year', which will be published in May but available to preorder now https://geni.us/365GaysOfTheYear 'A fun and fascinating compendium of LGBTQ+ icons, one for every day of the year, and a celebration of queer history' This was a huge project of 2 portraits a day over a 10 month period. I was honoured to be a part of it and rose to the challenge!
• Tiger Mural for The Silk Mill in FromeI was asked to bring some colour to an artist studio space in Frome. I was given free reign to come up with a design that would make people smile!

• Personal Project - Silk Scarf and Pocket SquaresI've recently launched my first collection of 100% silk scarves and pocket squares using my hand-illustrated designs.
