My name is Charlotte and I specialise in the conservation and the collections-care of archives and fine art collections.
I am keenly aware of the social and historical significance of material culture, and enjoy working to preserve it.
I developed my book & paper conservation and collections care skills through internships at the V&A, UCL Special Collections, Lambeth Palace and the National Maritime Museum. In recent years, I have completed conservation and collections care projects for the National Conservation Service, Royal Air Force Museum, Imperial War Museum, Cambridge University Library and for private clients.
Having worked in both commercial and non-commercial conservation studios, my intention is to deliver conservation best practice with business efficiency. I have experience managing budgets, coordinating projects and managing staff. I always strive to complete projects on budget and on time.
I am able to advise on conservation, collections care and collections management strategies, including surveys and funding proposals.
Conservation of small archival documents and works of art on paper can be carried out in Cambridge.
