Projects
  • Luna
LunaLuna is my ongoing creative project. I wrote and released an electro-pop EP, "Nostalgia" last year. I work on Luna both because I love writing, and because I wanted first-hand experience of the creative release process. I discuss this in detail under "Experience", but its been such an informative process, and I believe it will help me a lot in working on campaigns for other artists/organisations. - Playlisted by Spotify curation on "New Pop Revolution" - Airplay on BBC Introducing London and H

    - Study of social theory, human behaviour and bluntly, "why people do things". I believe what I've learnt here could be successfully applied to work in social media, marketing/advertisement or data. - The degree involves both theoretical and research-based modules, so it has helped me develop my skills both in writing and in data analysis. - I have completed modules directly relevant to my work in Music/Digital Media, most notably "Digital Technology, Speed and Culture". - I am currently working on a long-term qualitative research project on the experiences and mental wellbeing of music-industry workers. This has given me lots of experience in interviewing (albeit academically) on the topic of music work and creativity. This work is based on the findings of HelpMusiciansUK, Sally Gross and George Musgrave in "Can Music Make You Sick?". [I'll post my research when it is complete, but CMMYS can be seen here! https://bit.ly/2f83Bcq] - From above, experience in interviewing, transcribing interviews, analysing interview data and producing a thematic research report. - Basic experience with Stata for statistical analysis. Full-time from October to May, until May 2020.
