D&AD | Temporary Marketing & Events Executive January 2018 – April 2018 • Keeping the website CRM updated with information and assets. • Email and newsletters setups using MailChimp, weekly programme and content marketing emails, ad-hoc event invitations and fortnightly subscriber newsletters. • Affiliate and contra partner outreach and management: researching, contacting and activating affiliates, associations and listing sites to support the promotion of key events. • Supporting D&AD Festival 2018 by managing volunteers and incoming queries. D&AD | Professional Development Events Assistant September 2016 – December 2017 • Manage the scheduling of training events, including booking speakers. • Overseeing the professional development web page and ensuring event dates and marketing assets are updated. • Compiling feedback from event participants and analysing responses. • Use Salesforce to examine programme progress. • Sending mail merges to promote under-performing events. • Contributing to the delivery of marketing materials by designing new event flyers and brochures using InDesign. • Assisting in all pre-event preparation and providing support during events to the speaker and delegates. • Acting as the main point of contact before, on-site and after the event for both speakers and delegates. • Arranging bookings and all event correspondence. • Communicating, maintaining and developing client relationships. • Negotiating with caterers, venues and other suppliers.
