I am a Fashion Textiles Print Designer based in Leicestershire. Recent graduate in Fashion Textiles Design BA (Hons) from De Montfort University, specialising in printed textiles. My work is heavily patterned based using traditional screen-printing applied with complex technical processes for a high-quality outcome. Creating original fabrics by using a variety of materials and layering techniques and technical processes to make stand out collections.
Projects
- With the BandWith the Band: My final collection explores the women of rock and the mark they have left on rock music and fashion. A genre heavily male-based, I wanted to focus on the unapologetic dominate females in the rock scene touting sexuality, style, and spunk. Inspired by stage lighting from concerts, I have projected coloured lights onto flower arrangements to develop patterns and colour. Exploring fabrics associated with rock to developed within screen-printing and experimenting with techniques.
