Chelsea Fay is an American artist and designer who specialises in creating bold, colourful patterns. Originally trained and practiced in the field of jewellery design, Chelsea took a hiatus from this work in 2017 to pursue her interest in printed textiles. Chelsea is now completing her final year at Leeds Arts University in the UK where she has developed a new body of work that focuses on promoting positivity and wellbeing through design. Using honest and material driven processes and a clean, modern aesthetic, Chelsea uses line, shape, and colour to bring joy and contentment to everyday life. With an interest in maintaining a sustainable and ethically sound creative practice, Chelsea is constantly experimenting with old and new technologies, materials, and processes in order to grow and evolve as a contemporary designer.
