Duties: ● Supporting with key media projects such as the launch of Jamie’s new and existing books and TV releases in the UK and internationally. ● Creating and approving marketing materials, press releases, marcomms plans and social channel marketing activity relating to the book, TV and restaurants. ● Working as a ‘brand champion’ ensuring strong communications across all pillars of the business (Jamie Oliver Productions, Jamie Oliver Licensing, Jamie Oliver Restaurant Group and Jamie’s campaigning team) ● Creating and sending updated business information outlining marketing and PR activity taking place across all territories. ● Supporting campaign activation including liaising with clients and the media. ● Monitoring the media, including newspapers, magazines, trade publications and social media sites for opportunities. ● Supporting and organising press junkets and promotional events. ● Organising and attending Jamie’s appearances and interviews, briefing him beforehand. ● Presenting campaign evaluations, keeping partners and colleagues updated on activity. ● Researching writing and selling in press information to secure positive coverage for the business.
I provided excellent admin and operational support for the P&D team with the aim of ensuring a first class, accurate service across all four pillars of the business. Strong communication skills were an essential in this role, as was the ability to deal with all levels of people in a variety of situations.
