About me

I'm a UX Designer with a background in Psychology and experience in research. I employ the knowledge of research methodologies to frame problems effectively and pose meaningful questions to understand users' needs and frustrations. Studying Psychology, I've discovered about the emotional, cognitive and social determinants of human behaviour and the methodologies used to investigate them. I have also developed the ability to listen actively and exercised empathy to deeply connect with people's motives without prejudices. Thanks to the UX Design course at CareerFoundry, I have learnt how to apply this background to user experience, designing from scratch a web application that allows users to book video consultations with certified experts for parenting advice. I am passionate about understanding people and designing solutions that address their actual needs, and I'm looking forward to applying my expertise to contribute to a more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable world.

• Chef Olive: a VUI Case StudyChef Olive is an Amazon Alexa skill that provides users with easy to follow 5-minutes recipes. The project was carried out as part of the Voice User Interface Design specialization at CareerFoundry.
• Parenting Advice AppiCare is a web application that allows parents and caretakers of children to book video consultations with certified experts in the fields of paediatrics, psychology, and pedagogy, to clear any doubts they might have about their children's wellbeing and development.
