Chiara Schreder is a UK based Austrian writer and director of short films, music videos and commercials.
Her work focuses on raising awareness for women’s issues and reproductive health through dance, poetry and music.
Chiara has recently wrapped filming of a 25min factual entertainment TV pilot about fathers and sons reconnecting, which will be screened at BFI Southbank in February 2024.
In early 2022 she moved to the UK to complete her MA in Directing TV at the National Film and Television School.
In 2021 Chiara premiered her crowd-funded 16min short film Hysterical Sisters about the chronic illnesses Adenomyosis & Endometriosis.
Her fully-funded 20min short film Marionette about a struggling young sex worker, is currently in post-production.
