Entering the company as a Venue Intern, I moved on to Social Media Executive within 7 months. Responsible for managing O2 Academy Brixton and O2 Shepherds Bush Empire's social media channels, I have been challenged daily to create new and engaging content with the aim of increasing online following, engagement, website exposure and ticket sales.
Key Responsibilities:
• Managing social advertising campaigns including content creation, audience targeting & insight reporting.
• Stay up to date on new social media trends and platforms.
• Assist the London Marketing team at Academy Music Group with general marketing across all four London venues.
• Manage customer service via all social platforms.
• Design and create promotional materials for online and physical print using Adobe Photoshop/In Design and Canva.
• Work with external promoters and partners on local and nationwide marketing campaigns.
• Hiring and line managing our venue intern who assisted on social media marketing and various admin duties.
• Assist the Box Office Manager with Disabled Access Bookings, Sales Figures and assisting in the Box Office.
• General admin duties including answering the telephone and emails, post, diary system and lost property.
