I am a children's wear designer and freelance children's book illustrator. In 2018 I graduated from Birmingham City University with a first-class honours degree in illustration. At the start of my university degree I set up an online store Chloe Fae Designs, selling cards, prints, stickers etc, and it has evolved and grown with me through the years. I now also sell my cards on Thortful, Scribbler and Cardly.
I have been lucky enough to work with the following clients: Pearson Education, Scoop Magazine, Harper Collins, Barnardos, Dunnes, Babyshop, M&Co and more.
I like to create fun and positive illustrations through cute characters. I mostly work digitally either on illustrator or on my ipad pro.
Projects
- Illustrations for Mini U PackagingI worked with Chapter Agency and the kids bath and hair product brand Mini U to create x10 sea creature themed characters for the re-brand of their products. I had a lot of fun creating these illustrations and I love how they have turned out on the packaging! See below the process from sketch to the finished product.

Children's Denim Wear DesignerFundamental Fashion LTD
Birmingham, United KingdomFull Time
Within my design team I help to create and design denim clothing for boys, toddler girls and babies using Adobe illustrator. I design everything on a CAD including the style of the jean, wash, thread, embroidery etc. I also design prints for t-shirts and pinny sets and dungaree sets. We put the designs into the correct layout to be sent to factories to be developed. My job also entails keeping up with the current trends, creating and presenting mood boards to our customers.
