    Leading a team of 30 product and user-centred design experts to identify, design and build the digital products and platforms needed to deliver the UK's largest ever health research programme. In 2022, we designed and built the digital services used to recruit and collect blood samples from 200,000 volunteers within 6 months from launch (faster than any similar study) and we are now optimising to reach and retain 5 million volunteers by 2025. In parallel, we are developing secure platforms to process and share this vital data with health researchers to transform the way disease is tracked, prevented and treated. Reporting into the COO, I’m responsible for Our Future Health’s product vision, strategy and delivery, as well improving product, UCD, lean and agile ways of working within the business, working in close partnership with the CTO and our architecture, engineering and data teams.

    I led the Digital team at Kew, responsible for product, user-centred design, content and channel development. Reporting into the Executive Director of Marketing and Commercial, I developed, owned and implemented Kew’s organisation-wide digital strategy leading to a significant increase in online ticket sales and engagement with our digital offer. I also set-up and ran a cross-organisational Digital Steering Group, transforming online and on-site services, introducing user-centred and agile ways of working and finding new and innovative ways to share stories about the incredible power of plants and fungi. I grew the team from four up to twenty digital specialists, working with teams across Kew to improve outcomes, increasing engagement and reach, as well as supporting Kew's ambitious commercial goals. Our new website won best not-for-profit at the 2019 UKUX Awards.
