About me
Hi, I'm Chloe, a recent Graphic Design Graduate from Nottingham Trent University. I want to use this space to connect with like-minded creatives and to pick up some freelance work whilst I'm looking for a full time creative role. I see myself as a designer who pays attention to the smaller details of my work to create an impression that is original and impactful. I also take pride in thinking outside the box and enjoy collaborating within a team environment, taking leadership when its needed of me. I believe there should never be a limit to design and that we should always strive to be different.
Projects
- Introducing Immersion to Google MapsI wanted to design a new feature for Google Maps, called Immersion, where on street view, the viewer will have the option to switch to their imagination and see the unseen. Bring imagination to the palm of your hands and immerse yourself into this all new experience.
- Carhartt Graffiti Inspired (Self Initiated)I chose to collect primary research sources of street art/grafitti from around LiverpooI and used some of these photos as inspiration. I came up with a range of designs that I think point influence towards the street art of graffiti I saw in Liverpool and also showcases the Carhartt brand, including a re-imagined logo to fit the theme.
- Celebrating Craft (University Project)I chose the art style of paper cutting as my craft. I wanted to celebrate this by interviewing artist’s who do paper cutting as a hobby/occupation. I then created and crafted a paper-cut book, showcasing these different talented artists and bringing their stories to life through the art of paper-cutting. I also wanted to celebrate the art of paper itself by including various paper weights, colours and textures.
