About me

Hiya, I’m Chloe Kennedy (she/her). I’m a Writer/Director and creative based in the South East of England. I recently graduated from the University of Exeter, where I studied English. Having worked on multiple short films and music videos, including my BBC-funded short film ‘Dream Insomniac’, and ‘Robyn’. I have a particular interest in creating sensuous cinema, celebrating women and minorities.

  Keep It in the FamilyTaking your partner home for the first time is always nerve wracking, particularly when surprise visitors make an appearance. 'Keep It in the Family' is a funny little comedy short film, centring around a very awkward encounter.

  Bittersweet'Bittersweet' is a short film made for the MKFN 48 hour film competition. Bittersweet is a fun, comical but nostalgic short film, reminiscing beautiful childhood summer days. This poetry short film captures all the wonderful moments we associate with summer, juxtaposed with a bit of a cynical view of those small things that can ruin a moment.
• Demur - Short Film‘Demur’ is a crime thriller short film that follows a police interrogation of four friends who live together, as we uncover the truth behind a fifth flatmate’s mysterious death. 'Demur' is currently in post-production.
