About me
Designer based in Cardiff who recently graduated from UWE in Illustration. I love creating bright and bold designs, often involving pink, mirroring my fashion sense. Much of my work is based off of subjects I’m passionate about like queerness and feminism. One of my favourite projects I created was based on queer fashion. I have a great love of book covers and any graphic design from around the 1960s. I love all the offset wonky text. I also had an exquisite corpse book I created acquired by the tate library and is now held in the archives there.
Projects
  • Masc photoshoot
Masc photoshootCollaborative photoshoot exploring mens fashion and experimenting with what it means to dress 'masculine'. The aims of the shoot were to combine feminine and masculine elements to show how men can dress. Ideas of kulb kid, rapunzel in the tower and the impact of dior's new look. The aims were to show vunerability but also a tougher edge too.
  • 3D Text
3D TextPlaying around with Blender I wanted to experiment with creating bubble style text and chrome text
  • Springtime repeat

  • Penguin Book Cover Competition
Penguin Book Cover CompetitionPenguin Book Cover competition. This was for the children's category of the book Murder Most Unladylike. I read the book and illustrated a scene where they find an underground tunnel and add in some other suspicious items they find along the way.
  • Speculative Oranges are not the only fruit cover
Speculative Oranges are not the only fruit coverSpeculative cover for oranges are not the only fruit. My project was surrounding queerness and I was suggested this book to read as it is about being gay in a christian upbrining. In the book her mum regularly offers her oranges and the odd other fruit. I wanted to make a pattern showing this.
  • Bristol Short Story Anthology Competition
Bristol Short Story Anthology CompetitionBristol Short Story Anthology Cover Competition. The books have a variety of different stories and genres in it. As it was an amalglamation of stories and words, I liked the idea of playing with a scrabble style cover to show the words all crossing over to be one book.

A weekend at taxi studio in Bristol, gaining experience in how to work with in a creative agency. The experience gave myself better skills of working within a team and coming up with ideas quickly. I also got more confident with presenting ideas to a client too.
