I am a passionate and driven individual with a creative flare for design, styling and fashion. I personally enjoy following and keeping up to date with current fashion trends in social media, high street and catwalk. I am mainly inspired by bloggers, specific brands, editorial fashion shoots and celebrity style icons. In addition to my creative skills, I am highly organised and constantly planning ahead therefore familiar working in a fast pace environment. I am well presented, approachable and have strong interpersonal skills to offer. I have the ability to work under pressure and always strive for perfection, and to give my full potential to any task.

My current position involves having the responsibility to create attractive and unique visual displays for Marks and Spencer. I use my creative flare to enhance the aesthetic appeal of window displays, walkways, counters and in-store displays helping to increase sales for the business. I analyse stock and department figures to see what sections are successful and what are underperforming. My job also involves constant planning ahead for new product launches and adapting to the latest fashion trends. We also do a weekly comparative shop to see what the competitor brands are doing and how we can improve what we do to drive sales. I complete many tasks with other members of the visual merchandising team, and also have individual projects. I also ensure all garments are steamed and pressed for mannequin displays.
For Example, I created an eye catching notice board in our back stage area to notify staff which product lines are doing well for the business, and which have also been seen in the press and media e.g. Holly Willoughby from This Morning TV wears a range of M&S clothing and as a result that item sells out within a week. I also provide styling tips and how to build a complete outfit from Marks and Spencer clothing products. My administration skills at work include using a range of Microsoft Office programmes and Photoshop.
In addition to my VM Role, I am lucky enough to be a part of the Marks and Spencer ‘Fit and Style Team’. This role allows me to inspire our customers and to find the perfect outfit for their shape and size.

I graduated from my Foundation course with a pre- degree Diploma at a Distinction Level. This diploma allowed me to investigate different areas of art and design and also to identify my strengths and personal interests. I then had the freedom to specialise in a specific creative pathway, which was photography, resulting in an exhibition of my work at the end of the year.
This specific pathway allowed me to organise photoshoots with several different themes. I had the freedom to experiment and style my models. I then gained even more styling experience by assisting other student’s photo shoots and being their main stylist.
