About me

I am a freelance photographer based in Chelmsford, Essex. After achieving my degree in BA (Hons) Photography at the University of Suffolk, I have since gained experience as a stills photographer capturing small-scale live events and performances. I have also assisted as a camera assistant on a day shoot. I am a quick learner, hardworking and reliable. Currently looking for entry-level runner/camera trainee roles in Essex, with access to London and Brighton, eager to assist in any way.

  'Where is Home' - 2023Back in December last year, I had the pleasure of working with Vignesh Vyas to create a mini documentary centred around an exhibition titled ‘Where is Home’. This exhibition, shown at The Art Place in Chelmsford, explored the concept of home and what it means to different people. It celebrated a variety of different cultures and backgrounds, and considered how home can be a challenging subject for many.   Chelmsford Festival, Carnival and Parade - July 2022Finally got around to editing the photographs I took at the wonderful Chelmsford Carnival last month! It was such a magical day and everyone looked amazing✨ Bring on next years carnival!�
• Grrrl Zine Fair, Zine Making Workshop - February 2022 at The Art Place, ChelmsfordSomething that I love about working at The Art Place (Ideas Hub, Chelmsford) is the variety of workshops and exhibitions that they offer. There is something for everyone, and the atmosphere at all of theses events are so welcoming and fun. I also love when I have the opportunity to photograph these wonderful events! In February of this year I had the pleasure of photographing this fantastic zine making workshop hosted by the lovely Lu of Grrrl Zine Fair.

  'Manifestation' featured in the Mental Health Awareness Exhibition - May 2022 at University of SuffolkIn March this year the University of Suffolk had an open call for work to include in their Mental Health Awareness Exhibition this week. I am really grateful my work was selected to be included and even more appreciative as I wasn’t able to display this work as planned when I originally created the project and installation idea. Thank you to University of Suffolk for featuring my work in this lovely exhibition.
• Writtle 2MT parade and community events - February 2022I had so much fun photographing the Writtle 2MT parade and other community events in February! It was a great day celebrating the 100th anniversary of the first radio broadcast here in Chelmsford, Writtle. To kick off the celebrations there was a dazzling light parade and dance by a group children from the local school, which was followed by an evening of amazing jazz music. Can't wait to photograph more events like this!

  United in Diversity - Fashion Shoot March 2022I had such a great time photographing the 'United in Diversity' fashion show held at The Art Place Pop up last month! Everyone was amazing, and the show was full of beautiful handmade outfits.
