Commenced working as a Christmas temp in October 2014, which was then extended to a permanent, part time contract. The work consists of working on a shift pattern over various days of the weeks, it is a thoroughly enjoyable role in terms of working as a part of a team and dealing with the public on a regular basis. Duties Include - > Operating tills > Customer facing > Distribution of orders > Customer services – handling refunds, complaints & general queries > Warehouse distribution > Sales of product care & store cards
Was fortunate enough to spend time with and gain insight into the marketing industry, along with visual merchandising and graphic design. The 3 weeks were very insightful, with day to day tasks including the production of comp shops, consumer profiling and assisting at a range of photoshoots
Commenced working as a customer assistant over the summer period which consisted of being a till operator, tidying the store and dealing with the public.
Had the opportunity to gain insight into the fashion industry by gaining experience at New Looks Headquarters. Subject areas insight was gained in includes public relations, buying, merchandising and graphic design
