I have been assisting with an online publication titled ‘Art and Conflict’: proofreading, editing and selecting images. Other aspects of my role involve researching artists and writing profiles for the database and assisting with research for our upcoming series of public programmes.
My role involved engaging visitors with the exhibition: providing detailed information on the artist, project and Artangel. I also ensured the safekeeping and presentation of the exhibition.
My role involved preparing and distributing press images, writing press releases and newsletters, designing and creating exhibition-related printed material, updating social media platforms, maintaining the press archive, assisting with funding applications, carrying out artist research, managing and editing websites and social media, and carrying out ad hoc administrative duties.
I was a volunteer at the Project Space at Hayward Gallery, providing exhibition information, counting visitors and giving daily tours to groups of 20+ visitors. The role required in-depth knowledge of the artists’ life and works.
I was granted a place on the British Council ‘Comenius’ scheme and positioned at Le Collège Condorcet in Paris, a school for 11-15 year olds. The role involved independently planning and conducting cultural lessons.
Volunteer at The Museum of Everything exhibition at The Chalet Society, Paris. The role involved gallery stewarding, sales assistance, promotion and working front of house.
