Education
BA(Hons) Film and English
Southampton, United Kingdom
I studied a joint honours course, comprised of a 50/50 split of modules from the Film Studies and English Literature departments at the University of Southampton. This combination of subjects allowed me to develop a thorough technical and creative understanding of how to use narrative, theme, and voice, as well as an academic understanding of film theory. I also undertook a research project into exhibition and marketing strategies used in a specific british locality during the 1920s, long with taking on a final year specialism in practical screenwriting.

In 'SUSUtv does Top Gear' (a homage to the popular BBC motorsports show) three Southampton students are challenged to race from the University of Southampton campus to Spinaker Tower in Portsmouth, each using different means of transport (bike, pubic transport and car). I produced, directed and co-edited this production.
