I lead the organisation of a print auction containing work from well known artists to raise funds for the Solent BA Photography Degree show 2014. Roles included collating prints and arranging safe storage, curating prints for pre-auction viewing, managing team working alongside myself and overseeing the auction process.
I helped in and around the darkrooms assisting the key technician with mixing chemistry for all the machines and occasionally oversee the running of the darkrooms when the full time technicians are absent.
I have been working alongside Andrew Cross to aid the printing of his latest body of work produced over the summer in Mogadishu, Somalia. I have been having input in paper selection, colour control and also independently printing selected test prints in preparation for his exhibition later this year.
