About me
I thrive on meaning, purpose and tailored solutions. With an award-winning publications foundation*, I like to craft a deeper brand of creative built on resonant stories and connection. “Authentic” has become the most overused adjective in marketing, but there’s no better word to describe my work ever since I first tackled type and imagery. To me, looking to the positive, celebratory and/or solutions side of reality is not a trend; it’s a responsibility—a highly successful one. I package this up in creative that is evocative, aspirational and compelling in messaging and aesthetic. Sustainability and social responsibility and progress are also a big deal to me. (I'll also work with direction from above however that looks—and make great looks—as long as I’m not marketing anything unethical.) I recently returned from thirteen years in the creative hotbed of Portland, Oregon, USA. Solo or within a team, I’ve put my hand to everything from global omnichannel campaigns to app design. I’ve lead and created rebrands, environmental design, digital, print, motion, copy and much more. *In a past life, along with co-conspirators and some amazing folks I changed the face of action sports at my apparently somewhat seminal media company, 4130 Publishing.
