About me
I'm a producer/director of video, a writer/editor of words, and a branded-content specialist. For over 15 years, I've created editorial and marketing content for clients including Lonely Planet, BBC, GoPro, Land Rover, Three Mobile and many more. I've travelled the globe to find compelling stories, experiences and characters, and I believe passionately in the power of storytelling. I began my career in magazines, specialising in branded editorial features about travel and culture. I soon expanded into video, producing films for numerous brands and becoming creative director of video for Lonely Planet. I'm also a producer and presenter for The Travel Show, the world's most-watched travel programme, on BBC World News. Originally from Melbourne, Australia, I now live in London and work for clients across the world. If you'd like help with a video, copywriting, or multi-platform project, please do get in touch.
Projects
  • How We Made It: Douglas House
How We Made It: Douglas HouseA short film for The Office Group showcasing their newly refurbished building in the heart of Mayfair, Douglas House. Shot by Luke de la Nougerede and Stuart Hackshaw, and featuring TOG's head of design, Nasim Köerting, it explores what sets this unique building apart in terms of adventurous architecture and design. I produced and directed the film.
  • GoPro + Best in Travel video campaign
GoPro + Best in Travel video campaignWhen GoPro wished to collaborate with Lonely Planet on a global video campaign, I led a team of staff and freelance producers to create a series of 22 branded editorial videos. Over several months, I directed and executive-produced videos shot on three continents, showcasing adventures from paragliding over the Atacama Desert to learning to flamenco dance in Seville. The campaign was nominated for a Shorty Award in 2018.
Projects credited in
  • Havana, Cuba
Havana, CubaWriter Christa Larwood and photographer Philip Lee Harvey go behind the city's crumbling colonial exteriors and find there's a whole world to be discovered. I used textured backgrounds and distressed type to give the impression of Havana's crumbling buildings and chose bold contrasting images to show off the vibrancy of its residents.
