About me

My name is Christian Duka and I am a multi-skilled sound engineer, sound designer and music producer. I am currently based in London, constantly working with musicians, electronic music producers, AR/VR experience developers and everyone in need of high-end sound design and audio content. I am also working as a solo electronic music artist and in collaborative A/V projects for club nights, cinemas and art installations. ​ Lastly, I focus on researching the use of music to facilitate mental states of well-being.

  • Music productions of different genres as a producer (Gipsy Jazz/Swing Bands, Pop Songwriters, Classical Music Ensembles, Alternative & Indie Rock Bands), involving studio recording, editing, mixing and mastering. All productions were made in high-end professional recording studios. Location Recording Experience: Recording of a trio of Piano, Flute and Cello at the Royal College of Music Audio programming/sound design: development of new media skills on sound design programming languages such as Pure Data & Max MSP. Research on the implementation of new medias for enhanced experiences in performance and listening environments. Creation of new instruments. Post-production experiences: noise reduction and sound restoration of raw live recordings for films with iZotope RX, full foley work for a three minutes advertisement videoclip. Major Project Research: investigation of the use of music to enhance psychological well-being. Research upon methods of composition focused to elicit emotional responses/limbic activation.
