I’m a Designer/Illustrator with a passion for
bright colours and things that are a little odd.
I previously spent a number of years working
as a creative in advertising, a freelance
illustrator and in between that as an assistant
manager at WHSmiths. No joke.
I have just graduated from the graphic design
course at Shillington college where I merged
all these skills into one discipline. I wish I had
done this sooner, as I have never felt more
passionate about anything before in my life.
Projects
- Mobile Network IdentityMOBILE NETWORK BRIEF: Create an identity for a Sim only mobile phone network to rival modern network providers like Giff Gaff. DEMOGRAPHIC: Social media crazy teens and twenty somethings. IDEA: Cog. A Bold black, red and white universe where everything is connected like a machine and works like clockwork.
- Book Cover DesignBRIEF: Design a series of book covers for ‘Ham On Rye’ and ‘Post Office’ by Charles Bukowski using hand made elements for the main image. DEMOGRAPHIC: Book lovers. IDEA: Bukowski had a hard life. Society tried to beat him down but he did not let them. He was unbreakable. So, to show this, I decided to carve my images out of stone, well a breezeblock. Yes one of those grey bricks you find on most reputable building sites.
